Photos often stay in the lab's paper-bag or are forgotten in the photo box for a lack of time. Clixx'Plixx PhotoBinding opens a back door for all those who want to get their appealing photo books without any detourings.
The solution is simple (but took over 4 years to perfect): 10 prefixed adhesive strips on a carrier sheet, which are covered by a protective film until the sheet is used. This film is removed by and by and one picture after the other is attached flushly. After that the assembly is turned over and the carrier sheet is removed. By now 10 pictures are ready for the album and are clicked into the binding rings with the Clixx´Pixx notches. Subsequent exchange of one or more photos can be done easily.
A new cover spine binding also lets the top and bottom covers extend evenly on both sides. Thus the album is experienced as a genuine book instead of a disproportional edging e.g. on the left side of a folder.
The covers are available in two sizes and in different designs from semitransparent HQ plastic to leather. With its chrome finished binding rings it is an aesthetic frame for your analogue and digital photos. The photos stay well protected, keep their original brilliance and take a unique and fresh effect on the viewer.
A typical album, such as the 4:6 M holds 30 photo prints in the 4x6" format. Cover, binding rings and 30 binding strips are included in a sales package, together with a detailed instruction manual.
Up to 80 pictures are filed in 9:6 XL sized album. The covers range from a semitransparent 300 mic "frosted look" to 2 mm black leather with a velvet lining inside. Initially, the Clixx´Pixx System will cover the popular "world" size 4x6" (10x15 cm) only. As consumer interest will grow, other sizes will be offered according to demand.
PROMAXX will present and explain this new line of PhotoBinding albums in their Clixx´Pixx home page www.clixxpixx.com. It includes animated demonstrations and "Where-can-I-purchase" links. The web site will be ready for visits starting September 24th, 2006
About PROMAXX:
In 1994 two creative thinkers, the inventor Manfred Elzner and the businessman Paul F. Kirchberger, laid the foundation stone for today's PROMAXX Innovative PC Print Media GmbH with a decisive improvement of the micro-perforated business card. The company today develops, produces and sells highly refined system media for professional business applications and for the small office / home office sector. Their slogan "PROMAXX - for a perfect image" stays for refreshingly clever and new approaches to things "that always have been done this way". With the move to a new production site in the north of Munich in 2006, the organisation has gained a new level of internal efficiency and market orientation. Promaxx sells to more than 20 international markets and owns over 40 patents and applications.
